ASR ASR5952S Wi-Fi 6 + BLE 5.0 Combo Module
- The RC5952S is an RF module based on ASR lower-power SoC ASR5952S with built-in dual-band Wi-Fi and BLE 5.0 connectivity. ASR5952S is a highly integrated, high-performance, and low-cost System-on-Chip (SoC) supporting both 2.4GHz band 1×1 IEEE 802.11b/g/n/ax and Bluetooth 5.1 Low Energy (BLE) for the Internet of Things (IoT). The RC5952S integrates an RF transceiver, 802.11 PHY+MAC, BLE PHY+MAC, RISC-V MCU, advanced peripheral interfaces, Real-Time Counter (RTC), and power management circuits. The integrated RF and analog circuits incorporate a T/R switch, RF balun, power amplifier, low-noise amplifier, and entire power management modules. Therefore, the ASR5952S provides a small form-factor solution with minimal external components for IoT applications, such as smart lighting, security, remote control, appliances, and more. The module can perform either as a standalone IoT application with Supplicant/HostAP/Sniffer mode or as a slave with an SDIO interface.
