Beken BL2028N Wi-Fi 6 + BLE 5.2 Combo Module
- The RC2028N is an RF module based on Beken lower-power SoC BL2028N with built-in dual-band Wi-Fi + BLE 5.2 connectivity. BL2028N is a highly integrated, high-performance, and low-cost System-on-Chip (SoC) supporting both 2.4GHz band 1×1 IEEE 802.11b/g/n/ax and Bluetooth 5.2 Low Energy (BLE) for the Internet of Things (IoT).The RC2028N is a highly integrated Wi-Fi 802.11n and dual-mode Bluetooth 5.2 combo solution with complete hardware and software resources needed for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth applications. It integrates Bluetooth Basic Rate (BR) as well as Bluetooth Low Energy (LE) features fully compliant with Bluetooth 5.2 specifications. It supports AP and STA modes concurrently. The 32-bit MCU running up to 120 MHz and built-in 256 KB RAM enable the chip to support multi-cloud connectivity. The MCU’s extended instructions specifically for signal processing allow for efficient audio encoding and decoding.
The RC2028N includes a rich set of peripherals, such as PWM, I2C, UART for downloading, SPI, SDIO, and IrDA. The RC2028N can provide up to six 32-bit high-speed PWM channels for high-quality LED control. Each of the two PWM channels can be configured as a phase-controlled differential mode to support motor and strip drivers.
